What is Organic Cotton and Why?
Organic cotton is generally defined as cotton that is grown organically in subtropical countries and without the use of any synthetic agricultural chemicals such as fertilizers or pesticides. Have you ever felt itchy when you are wearing particular fabric or clothes? Yes, I did. I felt itchy and later I got rashes on my neck for a week. Why? Toxic textiles contain dyes, cleansers, traces of pesticides and other chemicals. Which can affect people's chemical sensitivities and cause legitimate health issues especially to babies and children.
